Why Small Groups?

Purpose:
    1. They are Biblical. (Acts 2:42, 46-47; 5:42 & 20:20)
    2. They meet the greatest needs in America. (relational)
    3. They are an evangelistic tool.
    4. They stimulate personal growth.
    5. They provide a place to identify spiritual gifts.
    6. They facilitate leadership development.
    7. They provide an organizational structure to shepherd a large number of members and new members.

What is a Small Group?

    1. A group of people typically no larger than 12 to 15 people.
    2. A group of people
    • Loving each other.
    • Growing together.
    • Reaching out to others.

Pine Valley's Small Group Purpose:

    1. To build relationships (Reaching Up)
    2. To grow spiritually. (Reaching In)
    3. To evangelize. (Reaching Out)
